In all honestly, I totally adore these games ^.^ Since 2004 when I got my first Sonic game, Sonic Hereos for PS2, I now have 6=7 Sonic games, some on more than one system, I have Sonic Adventure DX, Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, Sonic Heroes (PS2, Xbox) Sonic Mega Colletion (Gamecube, Xbox) Sonic R on PC, Sonic Gems Collection, and Sonic CD on PC

Anyone else here like these?

Sonic Rush

*the 10th Anniversary collectors edition for the SegaDreamcast. All the other games are for GBA, DS, or GameCube (all Nintendo)

Of course, I don't just love the games... I love the whole fandom! The games, the TV shows and movie, the music, the MERCHANDISE. Oh boy. I own so much Sonic merchandise. I'm itching to show pictures! But anyway, yes, I love Sonic. It's my major big ol' Aspie obsession at the moment

All I've got are Sonic 1,2,3,Sonic+Knuckles, and Sonic Adventure Battle 2. And I vividly remember the two cartoons (the serious one and the other one), and loved them.

I used to play those games a lot when I was little.

Anyone else think the Shadow game sucked?

I haven't played it, nor do I intend to. Shadow was (and still is, as a character) ridiculously overhyped. I've read enough reviews and heard enough opinions from aquaintances to conclude that I really don't need, or wish to, play this game.

Shadow... with guns? He's supposed to be the Ultimate Lifeform. Sonic characters don't NEED guns. Gah. This is just any other shoot-em-up, with Sonic characters instead of humans. Makes me sick.

Also, it seems a general consensus that the in-game handling is pretty rubbish.

Oh yeah, and I don't like Shadow.

I've rented Shadow The Hedgheog for Xbox, starting to get kinda bored now, glad it's only for a week, I rented it last Wendsday

OMG I totaly grew up on sonic the FIRST GAME I EVER PLAYED was the 1st Sonic game for sega geneses, it even came out the year I was born. He is truly the best.

It was called the Sega Megadrive over here, but I still had lots of fun on it. When I get my Nintendo Wii I'll see if I can get Sonic Mega Collection so I can play those classics, as I never got around to completing them.



I know there was once circa 1992 and I remember seeing, what was the other one?
(Also, I saw somewhere on IGN it said that one of the cartoons was controversial. Can someone explain it?)

Tails, did you ever buy Sonic the Comic? That was way cool.

I still remember the day I came home from school to find my dad had bought me and my bro a Megadrive with Sonic. Seeing the demo after the title screen where Sonic ran the loop just so wowed me.

LOL My 1st christmas (well the 1st xmas i can remember) I got a sega genesis and packeged with it was the 1st Sonic the headghog game, around hear I think thats what the Megadrive.

The only Sonic games I've played for any length of time are the Genesis ones, namely Sonic 1, 2, 3, and Sonic & Knuckles. Sonic 3D Blast kinda sucked and it seemed like a pathetic attempt to cash in on the prerendered sprites fad. I played some of the Sonic Advance games hoping they could capture the spirit of the Genesis sidescrollers, but I was disappointed within minutes. Sonic Adventure looked pretty cool, but I never played it enough to have a real opinion of it. I just played it in a Wal-Mart one time. And what's all this Silver and Shadow crap? A Dragon Ball Z character and a Punisher ripoff? Why does Sonic need so many freakin' rivals? And why are most of them hedgehogs? What, Metal Sonic wasn't enough?

When I was 8, my cousin had Sonic the Hedgehog for Sega Genesis, and I played it. I was so obsessed that I only think about Sonic, I drew a lot of Sonic things on my school notebooks, I matched almost all topics with Sonic , . . .

But, time passed, and my Sonic fever passed. Yes, Sonic stills liking me, but not like that time.

I had a Sonic obsession when I was young. I liked all the Genesis games, and Sonic 3 & Knuckles I loved. Plus I loved the backwards compatibility of Sonic & Knuckles, that was really innovative at the time since it breathed new life into the older games.

Recently, I played the first two Sonic Advance games. The first one was ok, not particularly good. The second one was absolute rubbish.

Has anyone seen those gamebooks they released? They were like choose your own adventure books, but with battles determined by dice and stats.

It was also the first game I played. Then Super Mario Brothers 4. Then FFVII. Then a bunch of games that aren't important. Then FFIX. Then FFIV. Then FFX. Then I smashed my PS2 and cried for 3 days.
