I'm wondering what free MMO's you guys are playing.

I'm playing (with a little comment):

Blade Mistress (I seem to be the only numbers guy on there)
Well of Souls (user-created worlds. Awesome. Only they usually suck)
Kingdom of Drakkar (though, technically, I have a pay to play account, but I haven't payed into it for a while. Which means I can't play on that particular account)

Runescape
Mabinogi
Flyff
Diablo II (exp)

Though I'm distracted by The Sims 3 at the moment. :P

Technically it's not free anymore (since the official servers are all dead) but I've finally found an MMO I can enjoy, Phantasy Star Online.

Been playing it offline split-screen with my friends lately, and I've got it on DC at home for practice.

I'm playing Trickster Online at the moment (my character's name is aruKADO), but if you're looking for free mmos, check this out. It's a really comprehensive list of free mmorpgs. You can order the list by genre, developer and status, and there are dozens to choose from.

I've been thinking about starting in on that. What's it like?

Free Realms is a very cute little casual MMO that I have a lot of fun with. It's also browser based, so as long as you have a decent internet connection there's not a lot of waiting at the beginning. You should be playing within 5 minutes of deciding to do so.

If you like resource management games, I strongly recommend Evony. It's a browser based game that's free, and doesn't require any downloading or extra plugins so it can be played just about anywhere.

Huxley. MMOFPS. You can play the open beta if you create a free account at FilePlanet.

Nexuiz was supposed to be the first MMOFPS, but I guess we were being a bit too ambitious there. Still turned out rather successful though, from what I hear.

This Huxley game sounds more like a traditional MMO with guns though...Nexuiz was never planned to have any RPG elements.
