None of those, architecture really shines when it actually "fits" in with its surrounding buildings. Fast example, in China, they're asking european architects to build their funky buildings (i don't think i need to post pics now do i?) which although modern, seem really out of place when compared to the old style architecture that surrounds it. There needs to be some kind of uniformity in the style while still making sure most buildings aren't carbon copies of the same model.

I have to disagree; provided it's done
well, I rather like a cornucopia of styles. I've grown even to like the Hearst Tower, despite the fact that it grows out of a freakin' art deco low-rise. Having many different styles gives a sense of strata, as well as relevance. Buildings should reflect their times rather than being mired in a phony antiquity. Monumental architecture in particular must have a palpable
will to power; it is the essence of the skyscraper. /opinion
That said, in terms of styles, I love Islamic (very mathematical). I judge on aesthetics.
