They are both way overpriced, but I haven't been to Best Buy in awhile. I know occasionally GameStop has some really great deals, but in general their prices are quite high. What are you looking to buy?

For anything you buy that's MSRP, the price will be the same at either store.

Just decide what you want to buy, then go shop around for the best deal and/or sale.

Unless it's really old, used stuff at GameStop is usually only $5 cheaper than just getting it new.

Game stop has been a little better for me, because I took unscratched games in for trade, which took off from the price tag of the game I chose only by one or two stupid dollars. Not sure they still make discounts if you trade in these days. As for just buying I still prefer Gamestop, because they have stuff a tad older to brouse. I just wish there was a shop with all the oldies. Like back side plug ins for my nintendo 64, and Super nintendo, because my father, who knows better, didn't send them! :x

I was a real moron with buying the last WoW expansion from them though. Set pre-order for the special Litch king expansion set, then canceled after paying, to retrieve the standard version. Brilliant.. NOT!! :ncool:

Thirded! :D

I bought almost all of my current PC's parts there. 8)

Only thing I didn't get from them were my mouse, keyboard, speakers, CPU cooler, and case. The first three were gifts, and the last two weren't being sold at Newegg.

But everything else (motherboard, cpu, gpu, RAM, DVD drive, hard drive, case fans, monitor, and HDMI cable) I got from there. :)

Best Buy is doing a Buy 1 get 1 1/2 off PS3 game sale (until the 12th) and in Oct. Toysrus does there Buy 2 get 1 FREE game sale. (As a gamer I'm anticipating that sale.) :-) Also in this rough economy outside of most first party games most games will be cheaper than $60 (U.S) within 6 months anyway. (Look at MGS4 $30 within a year) I think I'll wait for Killzone 2 and GoW3 to hit $30 aswell. If it's Nintendo first party DON'T COUNT ON IT EVER BEING ON SALE LOL!

Sometimes I like to go there and "build" a top of the line PC and stick it in my wishlist. I could never afford it and the parts are obsolete in a week, but it is still fun. :)

No other PC parts site gives sooooooo much info about the products. I love that site so much.

If it's the most recent games theres usually no difference (sometimes best buy gives some deal on the new games but never anything great). For the older games I would recommend amazon or ebay.
