New posts not showing up as unread?

Lately I've noticed I'm missing a lot of posts because they don't show up as new at all. For example I just logged in and saw several forums with "Last Post" times several hours after I last visited the site, yet the forum icon shows "No Unread Messages", and if I actually go into the forum there are new threads not marked as having unread posts in them. Is it just me?

Nope, I have noticed both that and a diminished number of email alerts on topics I was interested in....

Ya off and on (talking months) double refresh happens. Not sure thats what is happening to you, but it happens to me.

We really need to switch to a new forum software as soon as possible, but I'm working on saving up the money for that. I'm starting to think that trying to fix all of these bugs is a waste of time since new ones always seem to surface in this never ending attempt to make phpBB not suck.

Do you know when if possible when You will make the switch to a new forum or not. Was is not that was Nuttdan was talking about or what was He talking about in the end.
