13. Zelda II: The Adventure of Link-NES

12. The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures-Gamecube

11. The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask-Nintendo 64

10/9. The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages/Oracle of Seasons-Game Boy Color

8. The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap-Game Boy Advance

7. The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass-Nintendo DS

6. The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker-Gamecube

5. The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening/DX-Game Boy/Game Boy Color

4. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess-Wii/Gamecube

3. The Legend of Zelda-NES

2. The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past-Super NES

1. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time-Nintendo 64

If it was up to me I would give Wind Waker the number one spot instead of Ocarina of Time. Nintendo Power said Wind Waker for Gamecube has the best graphics of any Zelda game though.

Link to the Past is my personal favorite.

Wind Waker is my favorite because it has the cartoon graphics style of ALTTP. I prefer that over the semi-realistic graphics of Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, and Twilight Princess.

Majora's Mask isn't very high, I quite enjoyed it though. Good that Ocarina got top spot though.

I hate to sound ignorant but... anyone who thinks Twilight princess is better than majoras mask must surely be brain damaged.

MM is pue legend, TP was kinda a disappointment, aswell as the only mentionned game I don't own.

I think Majora's Mask must get treated poorer because it came after Ocarina of Time, and people had expectations or something from it. I have played Twilight Princess, it is fun at parts, but I got a little bored of it and plan to finish in the future. One of my main complaint for it was that there was little to no interaction with the general population, something Majora's Mask did quite well, and transforming into a wolf made it feel uneven and anoying unlike some of the uses of the masks in Majora's Mask.

I know what you mean about MM's expectations. I personally thought they met them, but other may rightfully disagree. Personally though, I thought twilight princess had a lot of expectations it didn't meet. I mean, WW was good, but it didn't have the same feel as the previous 3-d games. When the first videos and sceenshot of TP came out i thought it would be as awsome, if not better than OOT. I mean, it had the horse and stuff.

MM and OOT are perhaps my favourites, simply because the story continues from one to the other. Unlike every other game where there's an entirely new story everytime (witht the exception of zelda II, but there's no way im defending that)

I knew Ocarina of Time would win. Classic game.

Well Ocarina of Time is thought of quite highly, and often ends up on top lists. Like it was placed by one of the hosts on Good Game as their favirout game and I think it's Hookshot won a rank in being one of the best game weapons.

Of course Ocarina of Time was going to win slot #1 :x

If I had my way, I'd order them thusly:

13. The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask-Nintendo 64
12. The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass-Nintendo DS
11. The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures-Gamecube
10. The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons-Game Boy Color
9. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time-Nintendo 64
8. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess-Wii/Gamecube
7. The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap-Game Boy Advance
6. The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker-Gamecube
5. The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages-Game Boy Color
4. Zelda II: The Adventure of Link-NES
3. The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening/DX-Game Boy/Game Boy Color
2. The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past-Super NES
1. The Legend of Zelda-NES

Not counting the games that weren't on the original poll.

I'd probably be able to give Majora's Mask and Phantom Hourglass more fair judgement if I could actually bring myself to finish them, but for now, they stay where they are.

And I might have the two Oracle games mixed around...I'm pretty sure I liked Ages a lot more than Seasons, but it's been a while, I could be wrong.

I'd love to give Minish Cap and Wind Waker higher ratings, but they were far too easy =/

Whoever made the list is a bit of a douche, Zelda 2 for the NES at LAST PLACE?? Give me a break Zelda 2 was one of the higher points in the series, I liked Zelda 2 better then the original. I never liked the top down Zelda's (Zelda 1 and Link to the past for the SNES) over Zelda 2, Ocarina of time, Wind waker and Twilight princess. The 2D side scrolling action was awesome, that's where upward and downward thrust game in!

Notice how Link's moves in supersmash brother's totally copy those signature moves from Zelda 2 for the NES.

List should be:

Zelda Ocarina
Zelda Twilight Princess
Zelda Wind Waker
Zelda 2
Zelda 3 link to the past
Zelda 1
Majora's mask...

I really disliked MM

14. Link's Crossbow Training-Wii

That counts as a Zelda game right? It even comes with the Wii Zapper.

Possibly the last, if only due to main character.

I think of it this way...they neglected to put the actual bad Zelda game on the list...so even being last place doesn't mean it's a bad game 8)

Yeah, I didn't bother listing the ones that Nintendo Power didn't bother listing...there's quite a few other ones. I know there's at least one more CDi game, and three or so Tingle games...Smash Brothers? Four Swords for GBA? Probably even more that I'm forgetting right now...I remember there was supposed to be some game with Tetra in it, but I think that one was cancelled?
