Daemons/Phillip Pullman's "His Dark Materials"

Hi,
This is kind of random but I was wondering if there are any Aspies out there who know what their daemon is/would be? I just thought it might be interesting to see if there is some form of pattern with Aspergers and their Daemons or not, so this is a thread for people to list their daemons and what it means to them.

For people who don't know about daemons or would just like to learn a bit more, a wonderful person by the name of Okibi made the website www.daemonpage.com just for you!

Will we have a site full of cat people and rodents or are we a pack of dogs at heart? Who knows? I guess we'll just have to see!

To start things off:

My daemon is a white tigon (a cross between a tiger and a lion).

A quick summary of what my daemon means about me: Being a crossbreed that doesn't generally occur in nature, my daemon shows that I'm a bit of a turbulent person, at war with myself and my own nature at times. I don't respond well to change, and while sometimes I will appear to be very adaptable I really do depend on things staying constant. I have very specific talents in some areas and try to avoid letting other people know my weaknesses. I can work well in a group but only when it benefits me, though I do prefer to work alone. I am not very merciful when I am passionate about something, but I will usually try to avoid confrontation if I can help it. I am devoted to those few people to whom I am close. I can outwit others easily and can be very cunning at times. When I get my mind stuck on something I can agonize over it for days on end adn can feel emotions very strongly, but at other times I can be very cold-hearted. I can fade into the background when I don't want to be noticed but when I'm out of my comfort zone I can stick out like a sore thumb. I often put others before myself and lose out because of it. I can be very unpredictable.

How can I find out ?

Have you read The Golden Compass?

I liked The Golden Compass but this has a weirdly cultish element to it.

It was a good read (all 3), but it looks like they won't be doing the 2nd and 3rd movies...

If I have a daemon, it's either Linux or Marvin the robot...

My daemon would've been a turtle. I love turtles, always have always will, and I wish I could have turtles here... So my would have been a turtle no doubt. I won't hazard a guess to the exact species. Hermann tortoises are nice, so are red ears or maybe a loggerhead or a leatherback?

If I could've had 2 the 2nd would've been a collie... Because they're beautiful and intelligent, and because I miss mine.
