erm...

people may want to consider the wisdom of allowing everyone access to your email address on an open forum like this, especially as this is the teen forum - there are some dodgy people out there, folks.

my suggestion is that, if you want to contact someone, you PM them and ask if it's okay to have their email address.

just trying to make sure everyone stays safe. (and apologies for an old crock like me invading the teen forum ;) )

I think it's a bad idea to post e-mail addresses here. Some NTs with bad intentions from school or work can Google the e-mail address, and find you on this site. And the last thing aspies need is another way for NTs to extort them. If you absolutely must post your e-mail address, use the following form: person(AT)provider.com, i.e. without the @ symbol. The person reading the post will know what it means, but Google (or spammers) won't find your address.

Would you care to give me a reason, rather than a command?
(In English would be nice, but I have a degree of mastery of foreign tongues such as "txt",
so can translate if that is your only option. )

Give me a good reason to do so and perhaps I shall. I value the privacy of my IM accounts and would prefer to keep on-forum conversations on the forum.

I think you should just click the link to e-mail someone if they have provided it for you. It's as simple as that.
