Has anyone played a game called The Last Express? I enjoyed it a lot. It is now my favorite adventure game. :)

I just googled it and it does look fun, ( I like long train journeys, and detective stories! ) but when I started downloading the demo it said that it was going to take almost 2 hours ! !! 8O

Did you get it online, or buy it as a disc somewhere?

It does sound very interesting ( non-linear story and many different possible endings, etc ) and beautifully designed. Wikipedia says it got rave reviews but that a series of commercial collapses at the time of its original release, and since then, have continually conspired to keep it off the market. :(

I got it from the internet. But i would really like to own the original. The game is quite big for a old game. It was ~1.8GB

I remember being amazed at the trailers for it back in the day, but never got a chance to actually play it.

1.8 gigs isn't too surprising, Phantasmagoria was also pretty big...at least 7 discs, I believe.
