Ok, so I just woke up from the strangest Nightmare I've ever had and I don't think I'm ever going to sleep again.

It started in a hospital, I was really far away from home and when I got out I started walking down the street.
Somehow I acquired a car and I saw this old man with a broken walking stick sitting on the side of the road. I stopped and asked him if he had any shaving cream,
and he said "what if I told you i had a pack full of the bare necessities." So he got in and we started driving into this really creepy dead forest, once we got to the end of the forest it
rewound to the start of it making that VCR screeching noise, and when we got back to the end of the woods he handed me a cell phone that said "Stone4u4br" and then it started to rewind again, except this time I was in an armchair watching it on a TV and it wouldn't stop rewinding, and I was convulsing and my eyes were rolling back into my head.
Then I woke up.

What are some of the strangest Dreams/Nightmares you've ever had?

P.S. This is the first nightmare I've had since I was about 14.

Nightmares are mostly manifestations of what one fears, but taking a bit of what one has experienced recently. For example, if you watched a scary movie recently, this might have part of that in it. I can't say what in here you're most afraid of, although the convulsing part is pretty scary. I'd have to know you better to rightly say, and even then I could be off. If you find yourself in a nightmare again, face that fear...hunt it down and kill it. Fear makes nightmares grow in power.

Interesting imagery.

The fact that you enter "a dead forest" and soon as you get to other end of it you rewind back to the point of entry would seem to be symbolic of - something- being stuck in a dead end job maybe- or stuck in someway.

The trick is not ask what such-and-such 'means', but what does it mean to you.
Dreams are often symbolic but the symbolism is very idiosyncratic to the person dreaming.

wow, what if someone's user name on here is "Stone4u4br"....wouldn't that be freaky?!

yeah, last night, i had a dream that was very random and unpleasant.
firstly, i was getting into bed with someone i was in a relationship with...and they turned into my dad (horror...he's terrible. last thing i want is to marry someone like him!)
then, unrelated...i was looking into the mirror, and my boobs were terribly crooked (lol)
yet again unrelated to any of the other things...my house got infested with these creepy house-centipede things, that made high pitches screeching noises and were impossible to catch....and apparently they were cyber viruses that got into meatspace somehow? :S
usually my dreams are random, hard to follow, and everything is warped to make it less good. or it's great, and becomes warped without me realising 'til it's too late.

I had a nightmare that scared me so bad that I woke up in a sweat. I felt like someone was slashing my throat.

Hmm, I am working at an Arby's... and I do hate it a lot. I've never been good at interpreting my dreams though, since I don't usually remember them.

I don't know if any of mine qualify as nightmares, but I have had some not very pleasant dreams, both of which were a few years ago. One was some murderer putting kids in mantraps filled with cogs etc and mincing them up... (I was about 9 at the time) and the other (I was about 11) was where a man came in to our house, beat my mother to death with an iron bar, then came for me... then I woke up...) I haven't had any nasty dreams that I can recall since. Both were very violent...

LOL wow. A pack full of bare necessities. XD;;
Weird.

I don't have many nightmares, but they usually have something to do with dead babies. Like in one I'm supposed to take care of someone's baby and I forget about it and let it mummify in the closet and then I have to go grind it up and dispose of the evidence by, like, feeding it to my classmates on top of spaghetti. >__>;;
Yeah.

I think your dream is about the death of childhood.
