Did you have trouble the 1st time swallowing pills?

I did, it took several tries to get the pill down my throat. But now, I'm a pro at it.

Yes, I think in the end it was because I thought too much about getting a pill down my throat without chewing it. In contrast now I easily pop in three or four without food or water or anything.

Yeah, I had issues with that as a kid. I can do it now no problem...

except I can't do it while drinking at the same time.

I have to swallow my pills straight and then drink.

I still have problems...and I have to swallow a lot more pills than most...

I had trouble with it as a kid too, but once I worked out how to do it I was fine...

I can't swallow pills at all.

think it's an aspie thing?

At first I had a lot of trouble. Now, however, I can swallow all six of my tablets/capsules at once. Plus, the extra one I take only once a week.

I had trouble swallowing some really big pills. I went back to the doctor and told him that for what good they were doing me I might just have well been shoving them up my ar*e. I think they were called something like "suppositories".

I hated it, I think most people hate it when they start taking pills for the first time. But really, the pills aren't even as large as some of the food you swallow.

I don't think so, I was 5 when I first started taking Risperdol so they were just like anything else I ate.
Still the same today, I take all of mine at once. I could do it without water, but I heard that they get stuck in your throat and dissolve and make a hole.
