Hi , I am Samer , 23 years old guy and i am from Beirut , Lebanon .

I was diagnosed as autistic years ago without know to what level on the spectrum i belong since this concept was unkown in my country but after reading a lot of articles and docs i believed that i have AS rather than HFA all these years.
Just yesterday I received this wierd mail(Friday, March 3, 2006 3:31 PM) from a specialist from UK that iconsulted before :

" .......From your story I do think it is likely that you are on the autism spectrum and are now most like a young person with Asperger syndrome. If you had been assessed when first at school you would probably have been described as 'high functioning autism' (HFA), as your language development was delayed. However when children's language develops as well as yours has done we find they are similar to young people with Asperger syndrome, so I think Asperger syndrome is probably the right description for you now......"

AS , HFA ......whatever I am ! It 's all nominations , it 's all autism spectrum disorders. i don't care anymore! I am autistic and i am proud to join this great one autism spectrum disorders community of wrongplanet.com .
