Reminds me of Groucho Marx, when he's talking about Massive Attack. "Yes, we flew across the Atlantic ocean. First trip, we take off from London. We get half way across the ocean when we run out of fuel and have to turn back. Second try, we are coming in for landing when we run out of fuel again, and turn back. Third time, we take lots of fuel but forgot the plane. So we caught a steamship, and here we are!"
