Being NT isnt easy either AS people, ive been thorough encarceration and have seen family meltdowns and lost my sanity a few times. NTs can have obbsessoins too you know. THey also have ticks, i bite my nails and move my feet when im nervouse or bored. Socializing is hard to after being diagnosed with PDD, its easy after you get the hang of it though. You guys just have to do mind mapping, and cut off the xbox and artsy things. I used to draw, completly left that hobby. Used to smoke a whole lota bud left that hobby. Now im basicly living the typical happy life, go to work, come home, go out, talk to people.

That's wonderful advice for you, but altogether impractical for someone on the spectrum. One does not just shut off their special interests, or instantly develop skills in executive function that allow for smooth living. The mapping you suggest (I think of them as constructs) can indeed be helpful, but it is only a tool to changing how one interacts with the world... not a correction of self. That you've made it through such trials is a credit to you, but don't lessen the experiences of others because they're different than your own. The artsy hobbies you talk about account for both of the businesses that I operate; it is a matter of finding balance and niche to find success.

Right on.

But see the thing is many of us on the spectrum don't view ourselves as "disabled". What is actually happening IMO is people with aspergers are just signifgicantly wired differently.

It's culture, learned ways, society, TV, advertisements, people who consume culture that are the ones who "judge us" or can't seem to "accept us". The reason why is because many NT's are easily influenced by culture.

People on the spectrum shift their focus to things of interest. Going out and talking about your goals, and small talk may be "good life" for you but for others staying home and doing whatever we're interested in is the "good life" for us.

I don't know quite what your purpose is with this post... it seems to be something along the lines of "snap out of it."

Saying NTs have ticks and obsessions and that "socialising is easy after you get the hang of it" seems like you're just dismissing things too quickly. As an analogy, I wouldn't go to a dyslexic person and say "spelling's easy once you get the hang of it"... I know that a dyslexic person thinks differently from me and has different challenges that can't be solved with "NT's have spelling problems too."

OK, you have me totally confused. All of your posts have been about you suspecting you have AS until you posted that you failed the online tests. Now you are telling us you are NT and proud and that we just need to snap out of it.
I find this very offensive and your behaviour very trollish. Please have some respect. You thought you were AS until today.
