By learning more of myself and finding myself i would say that im autistic with maybe aspergers. Do you ever notice people move "robotic" whether they are just cleaning the room leaning over awkward or the way they walk. That's what i do and see many others do. It's like im only using certain muscles in my body and my mind simply doesn't connect with the other muscles so it all work together at the same time. I didn't realize till today my muscles are very tense and not loosened up at all. I noticed like my body movements are like like to point A to point B with little or no wiggle in between.

The tense muscles might be from anxiety. I notice the days I have more anxiety my whole body feels tense and i cant do anything to relieve it until I have a day where im chill and relaxed.

I don't want to say I'm blind to it but even If I did watch I don't remember how people really move or walk. I don't even remember the different faces people make and these are people I know like work place people my parents, my sister and so on. It's like I see and then I don't see it.

Know my sisters dog that's a whole different story.

Most of times I see here symptoms so different of wich I think are the mines. In this thread there are two that I share:

I don't know if I move like a robot, but I'm sure that when I see my self on a video: it's difficult to me to beleive that is me because my way of moving.

And I'm an almost faces-blinded. I can see to the people's face, and have some eye contact. But can't describe how is the face of anybody, even my mother, wife, or kids.

I don't notice peoples movements. I think I move a lot more slowly because of my poor motor skills.

I pay a great deal of attention. I notice employees racing around my bank, getting everything done. I notice waiters and waiteresses racing around restaruants that I hang out at. I notice that housekeepers are very robotic. I can tell a person's emotions, jusf by looking at their body language.

I have noticed my son walks similar to this way (he has AS). Also other kids at his school who have an ASD. I think I can pick them now!

I guess I pay attention to how people move.........If someone has a specific movement thats unique I can usually imitate it immediately. When I used to work with a lot of LFA's I was able to mimic them so much so that their parents' jaws dropped. I dunno *shrugs*

I don't care. People are for me only moving colourful objects. I see only if they move or not. But how? Doesn't matter! I see it only when someone has broken legs and uses sticks or sth like this. If it's normal walking, I'm blind.
I know I walk clumsy, because other people told me.

I can also tell if a person is nice, or not, just by the way they move. Nice men and women move around like ordinary people. A nasty man would strut around with an exaggerated stride, and a nasty woman would walk around, with her nose in the air, shaking her head from side to side, once, on many occasions, over the course of an hour, and flick her hair, with her writing hand. You'll have to excuse me. I've just broken off a false friendship, with such a woman. Are all NT women like that?

Movement movies topic

I have watched people who walk differently. the other day I noticed a guy around my age and he was noticeably bowlegged (he was wearing cut off shorts so this was easy to determine). I must have watched him for five minutes as I waited for the light to change.

Now that I have a better computer, I can watch Youtube videos. It is a whole different world when you can see the person who wrote. Brandon J is just a kid!! :o It has been a while since I was 21! :P

If not for pictures and seeing the same people day in and day out I don't think I would know who any of those people were. Ask me to tell you what they look like and like you I can't really describe what they would look like. Again I don't want to say I'm face-blind. But I don't really know what else to call it.

Ask me about a cartoon character I like though like Homer Simpson and I can tell you all about them. Makes no sense. My sister though I can tell you what color her hair is. It's the same as mine red.

That thing that catches my eye is when they move it's like a 45 degree angle everytime with no in between like a robot. I think it may be linked to as or arthritis because im moving my arm the legs in a different angle than usual and it's hard to do because the muscles are so weak and it's very stiff and it's alot of popping (like popping of the knuckles)
