Does anyone else absolutely LOVE this site?

You can apply so much of what you learn in comics and TV to how you see your daily life and how to see how stories are told.

I love analyzing tropes. The site looks like a lot of fun to pick through.

TV Tropes is one of my favorite sites. I get lost in there for hours.

I'm curious - what tropes apply to you/your life? (Anybody can answer this, not just the OP.)

I've never seen what's so great about this site, it just bores me.

Snopes.com, on the other hand, is a totally different matter...

Oh, I think it's pretty cool. Every once in a while I check it out and get lost in the tropes. It's always good for at least a couple of chuckles. Haven't ever thought about which TV Tropes apply to my own life, though.

As much as I love TV Tropes (it's both fun to read through and a major help to my own writing), could you please make sure that any articles that are linked back to on it are safe for work?

I love the 'Heroic BSOD' page in particular, really.
