This isn't a joke, this is incredible. Seriously, listen to it right now.

At first, I thought the title said "ambien god" and thought it'd be a fun little piece about his fall into prescription med abuse. Shame.

it's actually pretty good when slowed down. but would any track produce similar results when you stretch/slow it down so drastically?

I fear your answer accurately describes my sole function over the coming days.

8O That is... absolutely incredible. It's so relaxing. It's making me want to fall asleep.

I just tried this in three browsers and it does not play.

Anyways, if you mess around with any song it sounds weird. I once played a rap song backwards and it sounded like aliens.

It sounds almost scary that does.
I like it

Had to see what all the fuss was about, so I used the download link. It does sound rather weird. I'm gonna see what happens when I slow down other songs 800% now.

I think it's also cool how the tempo alteration reveals the inherent generic quality of teeny-pop harmony. American Idol, for instance, just confirmed to me that hits are no longer "crafted," but "manufactured." Same goes for artists who sing them.

But it's a neat idea. You can do the same thing with Absynth and it's much more interesting.

I'm playing around with the software right now. Some of the sounds are like something you'd hear in a slow motion death scene in a film or something, I imagine someone being shot and someone's going "waaait nooooooo!" and bending down towards them

I like the sound, but a lot of that has to do with the program used to stretch it. I was using other programs to stretch the same songs and they just sounded rubbish.

The Justin Bieber is no fluke; a lot of stuff sounds very similar when stretched using that particular program. My favourite is probably "Misirlou", which rather than being Sigur Rós-esque, sounds worthy of Glenn Branca.

Haha nice. I personally imagined the Planet Earth documentaries, or perhaps the best battles from Braveheart or Lord of the Rings.
