NTs aren't necessarily all that bad
Lately I don't do a lot of socializing, but awhile back I was. I think I had managed to adapt fairly well in terms of communication.
So I can safely say that not all NueroTypical types are big dumb evil orges.
Oh don't get me wrong. The comparison works for a lot of them. Probably even most.
But the truth is that a good part of the problem we have in dealing with these people is that we are by in large introverted, when our society is excessively extroverted.
If you're quietly thinking to yourself, people assume there is something wrong with you. You're labeled a geek (and usually worse). You are looked down on. Some people want to attack you about it, some want to "fix" you.
You're just supposed to smile constantly. Even when you're destroying someone different. (Oh yeah, you're also supposed to put down people too)
And so far, all the NTs I've seen posting here are not like that at all. So you can rest assured that the vast majority of my posts seething with hate are not directed at you. (I can't make a blanket statement, because I'm complicated and for the most part indecisive. But where I not, that last statement would have been a blanket one that you people aren't that bad)
Heck, a lot of the NT people I talk to have to deal with a lot of the same garbage
(I need to expand my vocabularly so I can use non curse words to express anger) we do.
On the positive side, it might not seem like it at times, but I think 'geek' is getting a kind of counter-culture cool to it. We're starting to take back the word. And we are cool dang it ![]()
This is true. There are good NTs and bad NTs.
Just as there are good NTs and bad NTs.
Like, I've been going to Aspie meets and even an Aspie camp for AS adults in my region for the past eight months or so. I get on like a house on fire with many of the Aspies I have met, but a few, I simply can not stand and it takes a conscious sustained effort on my behalf not to erupt in some sort of sarcastic semi-fury against them.
Throughout my life, most of my best mates have been NTs. Their advice and company have been invaluable.
all my friends offline are NTS . i say all my friends.. comes to about 7 or 8

Since about the tenth grade I've completely adored people in all their variety. I'm prone to turn the other cheek if someone wrongs me. Plus all of my closest friends are what I now know to be NT's. I think it's really just more important to be open and candid while keeping ignorant people away from you (If you can identifiy them).
