Well, I do exercise a lot, so that gives me an excuse to wear stuff like basketball shorts, track pants, or even regular sweatpants when I'm going to the store, the movies, etc.

Yes. Often, if not always underneath my normal clothes.

Crikey - I live on the West Coast.

People where track suits, yoga pants, shorts and T's - whatever. In the winter - we wear a gortex jacket on top to keep warm.

Even people who don't "exercise" often dress this way. It's just comfortable.

Kind of. I wear track pants almost all the time.

I'm always wearing tank or muscle shirts, and shorts, if the weather allows. In SoCal, everybody does. I don't as much when we're in Dallas though. I could, but the custom there is more that you'll be in jeans and T-shirt when not in the business world, and only in tank & shorts on the way to the gym.

Pretty much all the time when I am not working or doing some social thing. I wear a T-shirt and athletic shorts when I go shopping or doing outdoor activities. I also wear a ball cap a good bit of the time when I don't want to bother. Much easier than having to mess with your hair

Yes, I wear sleeveless shirts left and right.

Just did.

But then, I came back from the gym. So some people who wear athletic clothing do it because it's easier to go back and forth between exercise and regular life.

I do, as I do live in southern California where people wear athletic clothes even when they're not going to or from the gym. We recently had a heatwave where the all time record hottest temperature was recorded in downtown LA. Then, it was more comfortable to wear tank tops and shorts.

I do all the time, but when I spend $60 on running shorts and $65 for technical tops with wicking and silver in them they better be functional in which they are.
