My stupid parents keep hassling me to get a job so ive applied at every fast food place and every other place ofering minium wage jobs (those are the only kind of jobs i can work in ). But I CANNOT find a job, not even at the arbys by my house, because of those stupid illegal alien leeches who keep taking work from me and other aspergians. those godd*mned ilegals that keep flodding our country are mostly filling up unskilled, menial labor jobs. those are pretty much the only jobs that WE aspies can work in, due to our intense mental block from aspergers, so the illegals are competing with us and of course they win because the liberals in charge of our contry love cheap ilegal labor and they hate a lot of us hard working real americans. that means that we aspies have to get rid of ilegals or else we wont be able to find work. I personally cannot find any work at all and so my idiot parents are nagging at me more than ever. We aspies need to band together to ship all the ilegals OUT. If any others out there have a similar experience as me and cannot find a job, then its probably becuase of ilegals... and for those that have a job, when you lose your job and you need to find a new one, you probably will not be able too, so dont think you are safe. we all need to band to gether to face this illegal alien hord threatening our nation

Those "illegals" are still NTs, and you are still an Aspie. Even if you could get the job, it's not "Aspie-friendly." I'm relatively high-functioning, I work overtime at my job (but on a set schedule), and I only lasted four hours in a fast food position.

That's not the point. Any job that you are best suited for as an individual, you should be able to acquire. I do not think you should pursue fast food. Fast food, by the way, is largely corporate, and they do NOT risk hiring illegals. They may hire foreign-born employees, but they are not illegal. The legal implications and publicity nightmares are too much for them to choose to violate the law.

Pay no mind to Wall Street, it's not as if they had anything to do with it. It's those illegals, yeah, they took your job.

Well, there is a point to be made that illegals are "stealing" young peoples jobs. Teenage unemployment in this country is something like 75%+ today and part of the reason for that is that illegal immigrants are doing jobs American teenagers use to do. A lot of adults are filling those jobs now too not just illegal immigrants with the 10%+ unemployment. It's near impossible job market for a young person to break into.

Is the OP actually serious? Illegal immigrants are "goddamned," "leeches", they "hate Americans"... What an ugly view of the world you really have. People are people. There's not one class of humans who are leeches and another class that the "leeches" are persecuting. The kind of work that immigrants are taking are not exactly jobs that most folks want anyway. They're taking the worst jobs at the bottom of the heap... I know from my own experience that I'm rubbish at those jobs anyway. If someone has the strength of character to work these awful jobs then I say good luck to them.

I think there is a pattern world wide of people not taking responsibility on their own lives. If you are not getting a job you may blame AS or the illegals or whatever, but really, even if those were legit causes, I am sure that there would still be plenty of room for you to improve your own life by yourself without depending on losing the AS or the illegals being expelled from the territory.

The illegals have a "trick" to get their jobs. They ask for much lower salaries. Perhaps you should try that if you really want a menial job so hard.

last i checked, there are labour laws in the united states that prevent the hiring of illegal immigrants. i sincerely dooubt that a major chain like Arby's would hire illegal immigrants or they could face sanctions. it is much more likely to happen in a tiny mom-and-pop operation than a major chain.

they are called 'illegal' immigrants for a reason - they are not allowed to work in jobs like that. it's possible one or two managed to get hired by flying under the radar, but the idea that they are stealing all the jobs en masse is not reasonable.

setting all logic aside, if you truly believe it is happening, then report the companies to whatever agencies take care of governing illegal immigration in the states. complaining about it on here will not get you a job, guaranteed.

I suspect it is the OP's bad attitude which is preventing him being employed. That, and a total lack of genuine interest in the jobs he applies for or motivation. He's only applying for these jobs because of pressure from his parents (for whom I feel sorry) and that will be glaringly apparent to any employer.

@ the OP - have you ever considered that you are "leaching off" your parents? People for whom you show no respect but who are presumably keeping a roof over your head, feeding and clothing you.

Grow up, take some responsiblity for your own life, and stop blaming AS or other people for your failures.

How exactly do you know that the people in your area are illegal? Did you just assume it because they're Hispanic?
