Here's the low down. I am a 2X-sized woman, NLD/Aspie, and I recently figured out that when I press deep into certain parts of my body, my body responds by calming down. I know that it's common for people on the spectrum to respond well to the said pressure, but it doesn't seem like there are solutions out there that would suit my specific needs even if I weren't fat. The weighted pressure vests, though they can be custom made, look like they would not apply pressure to the right areas, and for the price I don't want to make my mom go down the wrong path. Basically, I need pressure applied deeply on every part of my body, and I can't imagine I'm the only one that craves pressure on the whole of my spine, legs, arms, neck, etc. as well as my upper AND lower torso. I think the weighted vests lack something to be desired, if I'm judging by where I feel all my tension, so if you guys have any advice, keeping in mind that I'm not a skinny mini, I will deeply appreciate it. *BUH DUM... DAH!*

Thai massage is heaven on a plate for me. Really intense pressure compared to other sorts. Shame it only lasts for and hour but the relaxed feeling does last a little longer.

This company makes custom weighted blankets:

DreamCatcher Weighted Blankets

They will make the blanket in basically any size and weight combination. You can get a queen or king sized blanket that is as heavy as you need it to be. They also say that they give free consultations to determine what would be the best size and weight blanket for your needs.

I have one of their blankets and it is high quality and really helps me. (And I'm not getting paid by them to write this. ) When I'm really stressed out or in sensory overload, I can lie face down on my bed, stretched out underneath the blanket, and it is so calming. I also sleep under it every night.

Hi! I share your situation and am an Aspie who loves deep pressure :)
I am looking into a lymphedema pump device (it squeezes to improve circulation but looks like it could provide wonderful deep pressure just as well) :)
Like these devices here, they are made for hospital use and happily come in larger sizes :)
However, they seem to exclusively sell to clinics and not individuals...
