I love putting my hand in jars of beans and seeds and stuff. I have done this ever since I was a toddler.

I like to tap my fingers on desks rapidly

I'll make a grocery list and then have to re-write it two more times before I can go to the store.

When I was about three or four years old, my parents took me to a physiotherapist due to poor coordination skills. (I used to trip over my own feet a lot when walking.) The therapist's conclusion was that I hadn't climbed enough trees.

I have three main obsessions
>X-MEN
>Pirates
>Origami

I know the faces of people close to me or those I've known a long time, but to me, total strangers will walk up and start a conversation as if they expected me to know them and I'll have to ask questions that will give me a clue. Usually former classmates or co-workers.

When I went back to the Bay Area for my sister's memorial, my daughter's mother in law was going to pick me up at the airport. Nobody told me how I was to know her or how she was to know me! I finally spotted a car of the sort I thought her son would drive, only nicer, and took a wild guess. However, she recognized me right away! HOW?!?!? We'd only seen each other once, a year ago at least!

I have trouble sleeping at night because of noises that don't bother anyone else but me

Sometimes when I'm alone, whatever's on my mind starts coming out of my mouth. I often get stuck on one phrase and just repeat that over and over.

I talk to myself in public places. sometimes while flapping my arms and pacing. i wonder what people who see me think

My body will occassionally twitch like a spasm

i flip out at people for really dumb things and after i feel very badly about it.

In overload situations I get an overpowering urge to drop to a crouch, covering my head and face with my arms and rock. I had to work hard to learn how not to do this. I'm sure it would look quite odd.

I have been completely and totally obsessed with dogs from at least the time I started to crawl.

When I get upset, I will pace and flap my hands.

you just make 1000 of them and then string them on strong thread or fishing line.
I used to make cranes while I was watching TV or while doing any activity that involved not using my hands so that my hands were free to make cranes. In effect my obsession was a very productive stim as well
