Let's not assume that everyone who gives us a hard time is NT. I bet some are Mean Undiagnosed Aspies.

Not like you

I was inwardly intolerant of my probably-aspie relatives and then I find out I am probably one too......so sad about it now. Glad about all those times I didn't say what I was thinking.

I'm told that as a young child I came across as "having a chip on my shoulder". One of the stupidest expressions ever invented but I think it was because I felt under attack most of the time and just trying to prevent attack.

Some NTs are nice and others aren't. Same applies to non-NTS.

Some people are nice and some are mean, whether they have a disability, or not. There's good and bad in everyone.

That is what I was trying to say :) . If you are pedalling furiously trying to keep up socially, and someone, let's say your child, looks like letting the team down, you are going to be much harsher than someone who finds it all so easy.

I can't understand mean people.
I treat everyone with the dignaty and respect we all deserve.
If more people did this it would be a better world for everyone, including the meanies.

I would have to say the people who insult and torment me do it while in the company of others or trying to impress a group friends. No one has come up to me by themselves and started insulting me. I doubt an aspie will will be with a pack of idiots insulting people. My experiences tell me it is usually some NT coward trying to impress his pack of @sshole friends and if that same coward was by himself he would not have the balls to say it to my face one on one.

Yes, it does seem that more and more there is a growing culture of meanie hate worshipers spreading thier destructive love of all things nasty.
They sure seem hell bent on attacking all things good. Don't they reailse that each and everyone of us in this world contributes to the societys in which we live. We all have to live in this world, including them, and some day they will be on the receiving end of the hateful nasty mean culture they have helped to promote.

I still don't, and never will understand meanies.

Some are diagnosed too. :D

The problem is that I do my utmost to be nice at all times, and I still offend people. So maybe they don't mean to be meanies.
Or maybe they do.

I have mercy for those meanies because they are not able to appreciate my person. :)
Even if this is not easy to handle on the spot, this is what I try to get on long-term
