The whole body of things and phenomena observed or postulated. And we come from the star materials which have been observed through a variety of telescopes for a millenia. We are all one. Thank you Galileo.

i believe this universe is but one of countless others. i also believe that other folk like in their own universes, which share 3D physical space with this one that i have been tasked to live in. just my two-cents' worth, adjusted for inflation.

It could be argued from a purely physical sense that each of us is a function of what the entire cosmos is doing at a point called here and now. In effect, each of us IS the whole universe looking at itself through our eyes.

i remember [decades back] reading about cadillac introducing their humongous fleetwood brougham sedan to england's shores, back in the early 70s, and they asked a local pub-denizen what he thought of the big shiny hunk of cadillac molybdenum parked out front, so said denizen took a look then commented, "big daft thing." so the universe might just be a cosmic cadillac that we're all being taken for a ride inside-of. just a jejune thought.
