Aside from Bethel University I've so far only applied to colleges, but I was accepted there into their chemistry program. However, it was $25,000 per semester and living under my stepdad's excessive income the FAFSA denied any financial aid to me until the year I turned 24, otherwise I would have gladly gone there. After it is possible to apply to the University of Minnesota for their 2012-2013 school year, as per their deadlines for admission into science and engineering programs, I will apply there and probably be accepted there also.
I went back at 24 also. Getting Aid now.

Finishing my AA at a Community College then going to a local FL university for Bachelor. Sadly I'm interested in Psychology and behavior in and of itself not diagnosing AS *or insert disorder* Sadly 90%+ programs are counseling/therapy!! !! ! NO THANKS!! !! I JUST WANT TO STUDY BEHAVIOR THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
I suppose that's a difficulty with colleges: you sign up for what you sign up for, so you need to make sure ahead of time that what you're signing up for is what you want. This time around for me, I'm going to examine the textbooks for the classes before deciding for certain, since, at least with Rasmussen, they provided junk material at middle school grades and pass it off for "higher [priced] education". Hopefully a university wont do the same, but I should still make sure. Also, my wife wants me to sit in on some classes prior to signing up also. I think I'm going to see about asking some of the students about the type and quantity of homework assigned, such as is it to an amount that it's actually distracting from ones studies and is it actually related to the subject or does it merely use the subject as a theme. The price for the U of MN and Rasmussen are about the same, but hopefully the quality is better than what one finds in un-emptied toilets.
