Alright, for about three months now, I have been studying aspergers and things in the autism spectrum. I have come to the conclusion that I have aspergers. I even wrote a seven (or maybe eight) page paper on aspergers and I. The problem is, as I child I was very notorious for over exaggeration, and my father still thinks I do but he is the one over exaggerating now. So I /think/ I'm going to have a hard time getting him to believe me. As I stated, I wrote an seven or eight page paper on aspergers and I, I've studied it for three months; not just reading every now and again. I'm talking about actual study. Thus I think I can make a very valid argument if needed. The reason I'm posting today is to seek help as to how to let my father know that I think I have aspergers syndrome... Thanks in advance...

Maybe you could start by asking him to read your report.

Go see a clinician at a clinic to confirm. Thge adult liason clinician at AutismNZ confirmed for me

Something like that would be hard for your dad to argue with, and, you would be more certain :D
