okay - repetitive motion and all, fine, but I have llimits.

Near us is an open field. They come with ATVs and go round and round and round.
Near us is a lake. They come with motorboats and go round and round and round.
Near us is a mall. They go to walk anfd go round and round and round.

I will rock. I will pace.
But the large size long term round and round and round - that I do not understand.

I suppose they feel the need for movement on a larger scale, beyond the range of normal body movements.

In my late teens and early twenties I frequently went to malls and walked continuously back and forth from end to end for maybe 2 hours or so. I rarely went into any stores- just walked. I never really thought about why- I just felt driven to do it.

I've never heard of Old People Syndrome. What is it?

I would describe it as the tendency of old people to wander aimlessly through malls for hours, only stopping occasionally to either use the rest facilities or go to the food court for some coffee and a danish.

If it's what I had, it mysteriously disappeared about 35 years ago.
