This question is for everyone, atheist, anti-theist, and believers alike. Suppose one evening God said to you, "Come and have dinner with me and I'll answer any questions you have." What would you ask him? Would being with him be enough?

For me, I'd have to ask why there are so many interpretations of the Bible, and how Christians can be expected to 'sort the wheat from the chaff' as it were. I'd also have to ask why Jesus killed the fig tree, because that is a downright perplexing bit of the Bible. Finally (probably at the end of a long list of questions) I'd ask him what exactly he thinks Christians have to offer atheists, given that both sides can be kind, caring, and loving. Other than that, I'd be glad that, in my case, the debate was finally settled as to whether God exists or not. :)

I'd ask him why he lets people anthropomorphise him

I'd ask him why he invented human beings when the planet was doing quite nicely without them.

Also if he could reconsider not giving us wings, and what the heck crop circles are all about.

I generally stick to asking little things, like how long does X have and why I cannot resign yet when it is obvious I will eventually.

The BIG question - if he answered it now, the answer would not fit in my brain. There are a lot of records of people who came in contact, asked, were answered - and then when they were returned here could not hold on to the answer because it cannot be stored in a universe-bound brain.

For that I need to wait.

The usual stuff: why do you allow suffering?

Then I might move on to other less emotional stuff like: Did you invent the laws of mathematics, or do the laws of mathematics exist independent of you? If you did invent the laws of mathematics then why did you make Pi an irrational number and not make it be just plain old three? Life would be alot simplier if circles were exactly three times thier diameters.

"O LORD, Lord of Hosts and King of Kings, can You make a rock so heavy that You can't lift it?"

My main question is whether God exists, so I guess if we were having dinner together I wouldn't need to wonder anymore. I would be very curious to see what God chose to eat.

I want to ask these two questions also...

But the first question I want to ask is too deep, too high...

I cannot even find words to describe it.

I will just listen. Listen to anything the Lord said.

And meditating. To the deepest point that I have ever reach. I would not imagine that I can reach there, it will be a ridiculous pride.

But just meditating..

Well, once he or she proved that he is who he or she says he or she is, and that he or she exists, probably whether they are the jerkwad god of the bible.
