Well... I didn't feel like doing the typical "hello." thread.

Oh.... and I had bought some cookies and milk to share, but a troll jumped me. Luckliy I managed to fend them off by flinging the cookies and milk off a tall cliff at which point the troll followed.

I'd state that I was new, but that would be like going out in the artic and stating "gee golly its cold." I wouldn't be making a thread unless I was new. I think.... The site seems familiar and I may have been a member some time ago.

I suppose I should divulge a couple of facts about myself and Asperser’s.

I was diagnosed when I was 17. Till then I'd never heard of the term. I'd ramble on more facts about myself that you people likley don't give a crap about.. but I'll spare you.

I.. err well... just ask me anything else you'd like to know.

Moderate, or well mild-moderate.

I mean I can make myself "normal "so to speak when I don't see people that often. Such as going out to eat, to the movies, shopping/etc. I can do those things and mesh with society on a small basis, but when it comes to the day to day grind.. I can't function well.

I can't drive and I'm 21. I have a near phobia of getting behind the wheel.(I doubt that has anything to do with aspergers though)

I still have mental/emotional break downs at times when i get stressed and I have a hard time controlling myself.

Interacting and living on my own is out of the question. I mean it's not that I couldn't stay alone... as far as keeping the house clean/etc and looking after myself... it's just evreything else that goes along with it.

It's kind of the same way with work. I could do the job it self. Things like stocking shelf/etc, but it's the whole thing about the way you obtain a job and such.

Am I making sense?

Cat + rabbit....

I saw the topic about driving last night.

I've already felt better because of this site, I've seen a lot of my "problems" being expirenced by others here and it makes me feel better. Glad I found it and you people.

Are you sure? A kangaroo that does is still a kangaroo.
(Until evolution does a bit more work, anyway)

I was 30 too.
Below average coordination, difficulty with multi-tasking, and too much imagination all fed into the difficulty. But I managed it. just at my third attempt, and am now reasonably happy driving.
(I read and plan the road ahead further than most and, when things get busy, give myself a running commentary to aid focus.)
