Is there a topic you can write a lot about?
Hello Everybody,
I am looking for people who are capable of writing a lot on ANY subject. Here is the break down:
- You decide a topic that you like and we (or you) break it down into sub topics and sub sub topics.
- You write 20k unique words (combined) on all of the sub topics that fit under your chosen topic.
- I take that content and make a website on the subject.
- I do all of the marketing for the website to get it ranked in the search engines.
- You make 50% of the profit for the lifetime of the website.
- You do not need to invest any money. I will pay for everything.
- This is not a get rich quick scheme. In 6-8 months the website(s) will hopefully be making $500-$1000 a month, in 2-3 years they will hopefully be making $4000-$5000 a month or more. Income varies depending on the topic.
- You work from home. You must have a computer and an Internet connection
- Once you do your first topic, you can continue making as many topics as you’d like. As long as you’re willing to write 20k+ unique words on a topic, I am willing to do the rest.
- Topics can be about ANYTHING: your favorite sports team, a video game you like, history, computers. They can be from a personal standpoint or factual. As long as it’s unique and interesting (you’re the judge on that, not me).
If you’re interested please post here, send me a pm or email me at writers at fell//ah//market//ing dot com. (remove the spaces and the //)

Does sound like a get rich quick scheme to me, at least for you.
Several thousand dollars per month with negligible amounts of work which doesn't require much skill or money on your part: buy domain and hosting (let's say 20$ per year), throw wordpress on it (free), maybe structure the content a bit and deploy internet marketing 101 - wash, rinse, repeat for every site. Almost no work after initial setup. The hard part is creating good content. However, this will have to be some really good content for the sums you stated, in which case the content is worth much more than 50%.
I would be tempted to just make a counter offer if I didn't despise internet marketing so much. I don't like people who make things sound better than they are...they usually don't have my best interest in mind.
Actually...if someone really has great content, it'll basically market itself and the little push you have to give it won't feel dishonest.
So...talk to me, I'll think I'll be able to offer you a better deal than MuchoMacho.
Bad content isn't worth much, you can just mash up some existing content and there you go, another guy who's only in it for the money clogging up the internet.

I dunno....
Associated Content and Suite 101 have some pretty horrendous content (much worse than wikipedia) but you can bet someone is making money...

If you can turn 20k unique content into a consistent hands off income within 6-8 months - I completely agree. You don't need me. Since it's easy, how many sites do you have with 20k content on them that make a consistent $2500+ per month?
For the other people out there who can write 20k content and want to team up with an experienced internet marketer and make some money together, let me know.
The other thing to keep in mind though, is I didn't over sell myself in the original post because I didn't want to come off as a jerk. But I am not talking about just throwing up a site on a fresh regged domain, putting it on wordpress and calling it a day. I have been doing SEO since 2001. I've ranked #1 for many different very competitive niches. My tasks would include:
- Applying an advanced internal linking structure
- Creating optimized meta titles for all pages
- Making the 20k worth of content so it's LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing) optimized
- Backlinking campaign to get the site over 100k backlinks in Yahoo Site Explorer. All quality, not blog comments or forum profiles.
- Optimizing the website to get maximum CTR on ads
- Using domains for the sites that already have authority
If you think you're worth more than 50%, I'm listening. If you can write great content on competitive niches, I'm negotiable.

Forgot to comment on this:
No, it doesn't have to be very good content. It just needs to be concentrated on ONE topic. Not 1000 words on depression and then 1000 words on your favorite sports team and then 1000 words on television shows. The way it works is you chose a topic, and then from there we break it down into sub topics (as mentioned in the original post). All of the sub topics need to nest nicely under the main theme of the website. The only thing is the content needs to be UNIQUE. It can be you ranting and raving about anything.

So anybody willing to give this a shot? I see a ton of people on this board saying how hard it is to find work in this economy, here I am able to turn a hobby of yours into a steady income and I've got no takers?
FadeAway hasn't replied yet so I assume that means he doesn't have any sites that make him $2500/month. He said it doesn't take much skill or money for me to do what I do, but we all know that's bologna. If it were so easy, why isn't every one doing it?
I am also not trying to make anything sound better than it is. The bottom line for me is that I need unique content (writing) centered on ONE topic. My options are to a) write it myself, but I've done this many times already and I no longer have topics I am passionate about that I haven't already done. b) hire an Indian/Philippino for $500/month and have them write 8 hours a day, which works fine but Americans know how to write for other Americans or c) team up with people who enjoy writing and split the revenue. I'm an open book, if you want to do this together we can add each other on Facebook, I'll give you my phone number and address. I'm not a sleazy car salesman, I am simply an internet marketer looking to team up with people who want to make money sharing what they have a knowledge about with the world.
I am going to provide you guys with an example topic, let's say you have a special interest in board games. We could break the topic down like this:
Board Games
-History of Board Games
-Popular Board Games
-Board Game Enthusiasts
-Board Game Information
From there, we would break down the sub topics into sub sub topics:
Board Games
-History of Board Games
--Origin of Board Games
--Earliest Board Games
--Classic Board Games
--Modern Board Games
-Popular Board Games
--Chess
--Checkers
--Monopoly
--Scrabble
--Risk
--etc
-Board Game Enthusiasts
--Board Game Clubs
--How to Make Your Own Board Game
--Board Game Collecting
--Board Games Online
-Board Game Information
--Where to Buy Board Games
--Board Game Books
--Board Game Publishers
--Board Game Tactics
So from there you write 1000 words on each topic and you've got over 20 thousand words. The writing does NOT have to be professional quality. This is not Wikipedia style articles that have no opinion. If your name is Jay for example, the website could be JaysBoardGames.com and all of the content is written with your personal style and from a first person perspective. If you have a lot of knowledge about a subject, you could take ONE weekend to write 20k words and end up with a residual income for years to come.
Let me know who's interested ![]()
S**t. I bet I could google "how to make money online" right now and be rich next week.
That's cool, I'm sure there's a lot of people who try to defend themselves in court as well. It doesn't make lawyers obsolete. You can learn how to change the oil in your car, you can learn how to do home renovations yourself.. there's a lot of things that you pay people to do that if you took the time to learn how to do it, you could do it yourself. The bottom line is nothing you could read online within the next year, let alone within the next week would match what I know about search engine optimization. I am not trying to swindle any one out of their money with a get rich quick scheme, I clearly stated there are NO upfront costs to anyone, to avoid that.
I was curious about Aspergers and was reading this forum. I saw that a lot of people have special interests and I also saw that a lot of people are unemployed and can't find a job. Therefor I made this thread to see if anyone was interested in teaming up with me. If you're not, that's perfectly fine. I wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors. However this thread is for people who ARE interested.
Just to prove I'm not trying to scam anyone, if you write 20k words on any topic you chose, I will do all of the marketing for free. You will get 100% of all of the profits of the website for the lifetime of the website. I just want to get this ball rolling, so if you guys are that skeptical I'm such a sleaze ball I'll do it for free. If you're not making $500/month within 8 months you can flame me all you want. Till then just give me the chance to show and prove.

I went on there now. The topics are so fluffy it is almost sad. As an example a person with BA in Communications wrote an entire essay on how to clean the fridge. Wikipedia content is usually good because it is revised constantly and is cited.

Do you have experience with this? I am trying to understand where the revenue stream is from. Is this stuff truly profitable or marketable?

Well surely, being in the business of the Internet, you must understand why we or any other logical people would be skeptical of such a seemingly easy too-good-to-be-true proposition. Then you must also understand, being in the business of asking for work and undeserved financial trust from strangers, in exchange for the promise of theoretical money, why we would be even more skeptical. Top that off with the fact that this is a forum for people with an alleged disability that disallows recognition of a lot of social cues, and.... you get the picture.
Then again I'm not so sure that a sleazy extortionist would go to the apparent effort to convince us otherwise.... so.... I'll think about it haha
I don't think asking a bunch of smelly autistics like ourselves are the best candidate to write a novel without copious amounts of editing support. Freelance writting is a pretty decent job for stay-at-home folks, but I don't think it would work well, depending on the topic here.

Heh, well for me the whole thing was if I came in here saying give me $100 and I'll take your writing and market it.. then yeah, pretty scummy thing to do. But I made it clear there are no upfront costs for you, rather than saying we go 50/50 on the costs like any other partnership, I said I'll take care of them in order to avoid looking like a scheme. And unlike FadeAway implied, the costs aren't a total write off. Each site requires about $1000 invested and I'm the one forking it up. Not complaining, just saying.
Well that's just it, the topic is whatever you want. If you got a special interest where you've spent countless hours researching and learning about and want to share that knowledge through your own lens, this is your chance to do so. I'm not saying to people write 20000 words on a topic you have no interest in. That would be torturous for anyone. If you wrote 20k words on your favorite topic and then WANTED it to be edited, I'd have no problem doing that. However, I know for myself, when I write something I don't like people going through it and changing my words around. I like it left the way it is, so if that's your preference I treat your writing as art and don't mess with it at all.
