Supposedly it has a meaning but I just don't get it. It's a nice song with a funny video but what's the meaning behind it? Can anyone enlighten me?

Just think of you as the singer, she doesn't fit, and ends up with people like her, just as you ended up here on WP.
And she is free inside, even if she looks like everybody else, she has her own identity.
