Personally, I am an atheist. My views have been completely cemented recently as I have been studying Philosophy of Religion, some of the ideas that the Greek philosophers made up were ridiculous, and these things were put into the bible for people to believe!! .. I dont disagree with religion and worshipping God, however, some of the time it has caused major problems within society.

So, what is your take on this subject?

No, and I don't care about other people as long as they leave me and stop trying to infect me with their dogmatic religious practices.

Maybe. My beliefs aren't so simple, it'd be hard to explain, i'd probably only bother explaining something like that to someone that i felt was worth it.

in some other language which escapes me now, god is known as "all that is." i believe god to be the totality of the metaverse and what ever else may lie beyond. i believe we all are a part of god, and that we are a way in which god experiences god's creative domain.

Ha, reminded me of a quote too.

“Today a young man on acid realized that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, that we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves. Heres Tom with the Weather.”
― Bill Hicks

I know that one, it's about 'Why don't the news report about the positive affects of acid?' :)

maybe we both got the gist of the quote separately, from reading about hindu and buddhist belief. but he was way more poetic than me.
