Where in Idaho are you moving. Not all areas require snow chains (Usually just the mountains). In any case, 4 wheel drive or AWD will work in those situations too. I do not think you would get something like that in Texas in any case. They school may know in Idaho and if not, ask a couple of the truckers. They can lead you in the right direction.
One other thing, if you do need snow chains, I suggest that before the snow flies, you practice putting them on your wheels. They are not intuitive and the last thing you want to do in the middle of a snow storm is to learn how to put those things on.
