My name is Brian Pearson. I've come to not like that name very much. I refer to it as my government/slave name and just go by my nickname Smoke or my alias Steve Viktor. I am 25 years old, Black, and I live in the Clinton Hill Section of Brooklyn. I work in the film industry as an editor (when I can find the work) and I have been living in New York City for about 2 years now.
I am a film and music fanatic. I got my degree in Film Studies from The University of Kansas. This is why I can't leave New York for very long. I hate to miss things like concerts.
As far as relationships go I've only been in love once when I was in High School. Ever since then my relationship track record has not been so good. I just recently found out that I am an aspie so it's helped me to explain a lot about myself and the things I have done. Of Course knowing doesn't necessarily change or help the situation. It just makes things a little clearer. I've actually been very lucky compared to some of the other people that I've been reading about that has this disorder. I was blessed with a cute face and so my looks have more or less made up for my weirdness when I was younger. I'm far from a virgin and I have a alot of freaky cocktails. Now that I'm older though things are not so simple. It's harder for me to maintain a relationship. The funny thing is when I was in love in High School I was all about being in a relationship. I was in love FOR REAL. Ever since then though it's just gets harder and harder for me. All through college all I had was the occasional fling. My step family thinks that I'm gay because I've never brought a girl around them before. I'm sure other people think I'm gay too. Kansas is not a very good place to grow up with Highly functioning autism. I'm not gay though, I'm just weird. Now I feel like I'm f*****g cursed. All the girls that I like or would enjoy spending time with and getting to know don't want to have anything to do with me.
It's hard to know what love feels like and not feel it for years after. I know what it feels like to have someone be in love with you. It's the greatest feeling in the world. I would give anything to be able to feel that again.
Anyway, I thougt I would just give this a try. Maybe I can find some hot aspie girl that I can share my weird interests with. Maybe I can find some hot aspie girl to travel the world with. Who knows?
