Hey, everybody!

I have some wonderful news to share with everybody:

My car has finally been repaired, and my parents are driving it home even as I speak. Although it is disappointing that we have to send back the PT Cruiser we had been renting.

I drive a red 2002 Ford Focus, but my dream car is either a Subaru Forester or a Subaru B9 Tribeca.

Tim

Woooooo. Congrats man! :D

The PT Cruiser, though, is ugly in my eyes. I'm not sure why some people think it's a good looking car. At least it's not as ugly as a Fiat MPV.

I think the interior on the Cruiser is cool.

Congratulations!! ! I like the inside of the PT cruiser, I love the heated seats ahhh. I like the look of the Chrysler crossfire. I don't own my own car yet, don't have the money.

buddy of mine sent me some pics from the Paris motor show a few years back and it had that Fiat Multipla. He must've wasted two memory cards getting photos of that ugly piece of crap. It's just so... hideous.. that you can't look away.
Taken piece by piece, it has some nice ideas.
As a whole, tho... well, it needs to be IN a hole.
I'd really like some of what the Fiat "design" team were on when they came up with this one... or what Fiat management were on when they greenlighted the project.

PT Cruiser - nice idea, so-so implementation... Instant nostalgia at a low price.
Crossfire - Ripoff of the Mercedes Mclaren SLR, with inferior styling and performance.

Alwright! Despite the age and condition of my vehicles, I definitely miss driving them when they are in the shop or something. The familiarty of them is very conforting to me, from the sound of the engines, to the feel and handling, to looking at the interior and dashobard. I especially like the sound of the engine in my Astro van. it has flowmaster mufflers on it, and the V8 makes a nice warm, babbly sound that I've grown very accustomed to. I also like the feeling of the steering system on my SAAB, and the electric heated seats like IrishEyes mentioned. I even like the smell inside my vehicles...especially the SAAB, because the leather seats smell like a jacket. I imainge you missed your Focus for the same reasons...it's YOUR vehicle, and it's sort of become a sort of extension of you.

I rented a PT cruiser when I was in Atlanta back over the summer. I really enjoyed that little car. What makes the PT cruiser so appealing is the amazing amount of space they have for their rather tiny exterior size. The tall roofline is great because adults are actually comfortable in the back seat. There's also lots of room in the back for hauling stuff. I've heard elderly people like the PT cruisers because the seat height is higher than a typical car, and they don't need to bend over as much to climb in and out. I liked the handling of the PT cruiser. It was very nimble and responsive. The engine was a bit whimpy though, I was bouncing it off the redline just trying to enter the heavy traffic on the I285 beltway. The PT cruiser doesn't look that bad, but I wouldn't buy one for it's appearance, I'd get one for it's usefulness...only problem is I don't want to give up the vehicles I currently own....I like them too much!
