This subject has been discussed before, but hopefully this will be a bit different this time around.

I have glasses and got the lenses that become dark when exposed to the light. Whenever they became dark it was very depressing like everything was gloomy. It happened much like a switch was thrown. I don't have them now, and what a relief! I get a similar sensation when in a vehicle with tinted windows or in a building with tinted windows.

I have a sensitivity to bright light. My eye doctor says that people who are severely nearsighted are often sensitive to bright light, and contact lenses make it worse because of the way they gather and focus light. So I've had the fluorescent lights above my desk at work removed, and I have to wear sunglasses if I go outside during the daytime. So... MUST HAVE TINT was my answer. :)

The tint that I need is the palest blue, for everything. Daytime and nighttime. The world looks so horribly yellow to me, a kind of glaring mustard. With a light blue tint on my glasses, the world looks like it's supposed to, a friendly place, not blue, just right. But *try* to explain that to an optometrist!

This may sound weird.

But I can't wear hats for more than 5 minutes.

I can't wear sunnies they annoy me being on my face.

Beanies are even worse it feels like my brain needs more oxygen (ha!)

Doesn't anyone get that "argh somethings stuck to my face" feeling from sunnies?

Hmmn maybe its just me.

I developed this right eye squint years ago for dealing with sunlight :P

It bothers me because the world just looks so wrong.
