I realized a few days ago while blogging I hate my ex boyfriend.

What about you?

It's not that I hate my ex... I did at one point but now I'm over it. It's that my ex probably still hates me, and that scares me a bit. She's the kind of psychopath who can watch an anime like Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni and LAUGH. The word "yandere" comes to mind.

I realized it's healthier to move on, what's the point in being angry at someone that probably isn't thinking about you? They aren't suffering from that anger or bitterness, you are the only person who suffers from it so it's better to let go. It takes time to forgive or to accept responsibility but once you do, it will take a burden away from your shoulders.

No, there's no hate but feeling sorry for being such a fool and having messed things up. I'm really skilled in this respect. And practice makes perfect. :wall:

I have a handful of exes. They all sit on various places on the scale between good friend and greatly despise.

Not so long ago i saw an ex from far. The affair had ended in 1997 and now i was shocked and wondering what might have caused her to get so obese and ugly. The latter because she wore a crew cut and her whole appearance was scruffy. So in this case i felt downright happy that i no longer have the privilege of being her bf.

I don't hate any of my ex boyfriends. Most of them were decent people - we simply weren't suited. I don't even hate my violent ex, I just pity him. Mostly I don't think about them at all.

I don't hate any of my ex's.

I dislike the one who is currently stalking me, but I don't hate him. He needs help.

My other 2 ex's were awesome guys, I could never hate either of them.

I have only two "exes" and I don't think highly of either of them. I'm a "macaw" in that I'm only ever looking for a long-term bond and relationship.

#1 - Circa 2000 - I had just turned 18 - I was with a girl for 6 months. I was new to the entire brain chemistry of attraction and found it a bit overwhelming. She was from a wealthier family, her dad made me feel like I ought to be outside mowing the lawn. She broke up with me in January of 2001 after I'd had issues with my heart (I have a bad arrythmia). She called the whole relationship an "infatuation" - I apparently wasn't at all like the imaginary person she had worked up in her mind, that I was.

#2 - I was with another girl from July 2001 - July 2010 (9 years). We'd bought a house together. I had severe health issues for 6 months in 2009 (negligent medical treatment for my heart condition) and during that time she became distant, left me alone to deal with the fear, anxiety, and sadness. She made it worse by staying in the same house, sleeping in the same bed, continuing to live with me for another year, all while flirting with other guys (and girls). She later stole a ton of my stuff when she moved out, into a co-worker's house.

I "hate" both of them for different reasons. I haven't had good experiences with girls, mostly because I am not able to read their exploitative or selfish motivations to pursue me in a relationship. I paid the price. It has affected me in ways that cause difficulty with trust and with vulnerability in my current relationship.

I dunno, I've only got one ex and i think she might hate me. I ended the relationship with her during one of the worst years of my life, except the only side she can see it from is her own. The truth is that she wasn't right for me and i was too young, except the relationship itself was good, i just didn't want to waste any more of her time so i manned up and ended it.

It was kinda horrible that she needed to hate me to get over me, at the time she was my only friend and it made the worst year of my life even worse, i ended up retreating from the world for a few years after that and i honestly could have done with someone sticking around. I don't blame her though, from my point of view time spent hating someone is time wasted. It doesn't leave me with a great feeling but it's just one of those things that you can't change and it'd be pointless to dwell on it.

My most recent ex, yes, absolutely. Mostly because he's stalking me a year after I completely cut contact (I still get a txt about once a month, letters in my mailbox, banging on my door, taking a job where I used to work to get close to people I used to work with, etc.)

He was abusive when I was with him, even almost strangled me over a video game glitch, constantly drove home all the issues I have, and made a point of telling me when people didn't like me and why, and it was always on me, never them.

So yes, I hate him, I still get panic attacks when I hear from or about him, and it's been a year since I've seen him, but I think I'd prolly punch him if I did.....

I did have this with my last ex but it was a phase that I had to move on from that encounter.
Only after did I realise what kind of relationship I was in which was different to the one I thought I had at the time.
EDIT: Welcome to WP, Shhkids.

I've gotten to a point where I just don't care. For a while I couldn't get out of love with her, then I hated her because of the circumstances of the breakup and how she treated me after it, but now I just don't care. I know that she's an incredibly emotionally unstable person who is very easily manipulable and that the guy she left me for won't last at all and like, she's free to make her own stupid choices.

I was hurt by both my ex's and it would take me months to get over it because I would be talking about them all the time. Now I just talk about them like normal, not obsessively when I talk about anecdotes or experience. None of them were good relationships. There was too much bad in them, more bad than good.
