I competed at Modern Pentathlon in my younger days, getting as far as Olympic trials, but not, alas, making the cut.

Archery and gymnastics.

I was moderately obsessed with the gymnast Epke Zonderland (mostly because he has awesome hair). It lead me to learn a lot about gymnastics.
