Men have told me I'm good-looking, yes. In fact, statistically speaking, more men have said I'm good-looking because I make them feel funny in their underpants than women (who usually tell me I'm handsome either because they're family and they have to, or because they're trying to tell me that I shouldn't give up on finding a girlfriend).

Being a boy, this confuses me somewhat.

I don't think most men would find me good-looking at all; they always used to turn away from me right away if I so much as looked in their general direction, and I know that back in high school I was considered by the guys to be ugly. This used to bother me quite a bit, it doesn't anymore-my husband thinks I'm very cute and that is all that matters-I think he's way better than most guys anyway! :) (well, to me he's better than all guys! )

Yes, but they usually say it in much ruder terms

As far as I can tell, they don't tend to notice me. My boyfriend says that he's seen guys flirt with me, and that I've just been completely oblivious, but I've never noticed any of this, so I guess I'll have to take his word for it. But he's the only one who has actually told me outright that I'm good-looking.

Yes. When I was younger I would be talking to a guy and he'd get upset and cut the conversation short and I'd be confused. After about 2 days of thinking it over, I'd usually realize he was either trying to flirt w/ me and i was oblivious or that he'd outright asked me to go out w/ him and I'd misinterpreted and basically shot him down. Like the guy who asked me if I was going to the popular bar that night, and I said no, and he asked if I'd like to, and I said not really. Um, if he'd said, would you like to go WITH ME, I'd have gotten it and been much nicer about turning him down.

I'm married and I have 3 kids now, my youngest is 14 mos old and nursing, so I don't often find myself in a situation where men would be flirting w/ me or whatever. Sometimes I catch them staring at my chest, but that's different, I've been told they can't help it and don't even usually realize they're doing it. My husband tells me often that I'm beautiful, and I believe him. :)

A few, mostly my boyfriend. I'm not conventionally pretty. I'm not really ugly either I just have a big, once broken, nose that gets me mistaken for a Jew all the time, acne scars, and my teeth aren't great, they're a little on the crooked side.

I am not exactly drop dead gorgeous (I class myself as average really) but am aware that I am not ugly either. I do get positive comments from guys. But I tend to assess as to why I am getting this comment. If it is genuine, then fine, I take it how it is meant, like when a friend or boyfriend tells you. However, I am cautious of someone who showers me with compliments after five minutes of meeting me as I know full well what there intentions are and tend to take no interest in anything they have to say as they won't mean it the next day. Just my opinion.

Quite a few men say that I am good looking yes, but I would say that I am more "cute" than beautiful. I certainly do not think that I am anything amazing to look at, but I don't really care about looking gorgeous.

If your current avatar is a self-portrait, you're exceptionally good looking!

Considering the non-stop sexual harassment I've received from men and women since about age twelve, there must be something there, but for half my life, I have always considered myself ugly.
In recent years, I've come to believe that I'm attractive, but I don't really care. Intelligence always impresses me far more than mere looks. I'm actually relieved to be getting older. Maybe they'll leave me alone.

What you want to say is " Oh Really so what part of me you see as this & tell me why? "
