Hi!

Like many here, I found this site looking for information on Asperger Syndrom. I'm currently in the process of getting the approval of my health insurance to get a diagnosis.

I'm 28, french but currently living in Germany. I've no idea how good health professionals are with autism in Germany, but to be honest it can hardly be worse than in France. I managed to find someone who is specialized in Asperger diagnosis in adults. Let's see. I'm personally not sure of my self-diagnosis, I just hope to get some answers and some help. Aside from being a potential Asperger, I'm officially "gifted", which brings its own issues.

Whatever my diagnosis is, I'm glad I found this community.

I am familiar with Germany, but only have made a few visits to France. I liked it it the times I went.
