It's because men have a bigger desire for sex I think.

I think it depends on the particular woman. I have a few female coworkers who are really eager to get married and start a family and they seem very unhappy about being single.

Personally, though, I've been in enough unhealthy relationships to know that there are worse things for me than being single. I'm not happy with being single, per se, but I've at least resigned myself to an attitude of "I guess my life could always be worse."

men dont have any more desire than women for sex. if anything i think its more to do with the offsided mating rituals of our society. It seems to be a bit harder on the lower end guys of all the groups to have a so called "single lifestyle"

You assume that they are in fact happier. Do you have any reasonable cause to believe that?
Have you considered the possibility that they just complain about it less than you?

With all due respect, that is not English. Please rephrase the question.

Men's sex drives are stronger than women's.

Quote:
Study after study illustrates that men's sex drives are not only stronger than women's, but much more straightforward.

I thought this was common knowledge.

That doesnt say that women dont have a sex drive or that they can be out looking for sex. in any case, every one night stand or similar case involves a man and a woman. while yes chances are the girls dont always go out looking for sex it doesnt mean if the right chance doesnt present itself that they wont take it

Neither Uprising nor I said women don't have sex drive.
We said men have bigger desire or stronger sex drives than women. Thus they are more frustrated and unhappier than women when they are single.
I wouldn't say that's the only reason but I believe that's the biggest reason.

Except that desire for sex equals...a desire for sex.
It doesn't equal a desire to be in a relationship, IE, NON-single.

I'd be interested in the research sparking OP's initial premise.
