In Sacramento CA the Capital Public Radio has a multimedia series called "The View From Here." Last year they did 3 stories on diabetes, nutrition in school lunch and healthcare in rural areas. This year the first story they are doing are adults on the autism spectrum. The head of my supported living agency referred the documentary team to me. Altogether they interviewed and profiled 4 adults with autism for the radio, and one extra adult for the internet.

They photographed and recorded me at my job at Pride and also recorded fellow aspies and I at an Asperger support group at the Mind institute. They also interviewed my parents and recorded me and interviewed my staff at my apartment on a typical day at home, and recorded me hosting a heroes night-a night where my work friends and I watch several episodes of Heroes and then discuss what is happening ad nauseam. They also photographed me on a date with Danny.

It is set to air March 1st at 10am and 8pm.

For those of you not in the Sacramento valley metro area the second it appears online I will set up a link on this topic.
