Assuming its possible, I kinda want to get a voice in my head like a person with the personality of a stereotypical teenager ["Hey whats up bro?" "This test is BOGUS!" should give you an idea] that agrees with me most of the time, dissagrees sometimes, and makes comments on the current situation or about him being just a voice in reply to you saying something like "Hey help me out here!" and then he says "If you cant have an idea, I don't, im just a voice in your head.". I kinda want to get one because it gives me someone to listen to that is kinda cool when i sit through school. Not one of those ones that makes you listen to a conversation or just blah-blah-blah-yak-yak-yak negative thoughts every 5 seconds.

Can you guys help me out here [atleast saying that it isnt possible will do]?

Umm... I am kind of embarrassed to say this, but I am a kid, and I don't really know all the science terms on that Wikipedia page.
Got a simple tip? Anyone?

Become religious... just kidding! :)

Joking aside, I honestly don't know how to get voices in your head. Most people try to avoid having voices in their head.

I'm not sure anyone can give you simple advice on this. Most of the time people are trying to get the voice out of their head, not in.

Why are you kidding? It almost worked for me. I don't regularly hear voices but the few brief moments I've heard anything said to me were during the most intensely religous part of my life.

It was just 9 words spoken and nothing close to an illness but technically, excessive spirituality did lead to an auditory hallucination.

It's funny how jokes can turn out to be true.

Also, have you ever heard of stendhal syndrome or Jerusalem syndrome?

Who is more insane?

A psychotic who hear voices?

Or a sane person who WANTS to be a psychotic who hears voices?

That depends, are we talking about a sane person who acts on the desire or someone who just passively wishes?

My mom would probably say the sane person is crazier but only because she has to live with me.

I guess if you keep training yourself on having a voice in your head, you might eventually be able to do it automatically. But I think you probably should be rather grateful that you don't have a voice in your head because it could interfere with your life. Once you get it, it might go out of your control and you might end up being controlled by it. I understand that it would be fun if you had a friendly voice in your head that entertains you, but it would only be your own imagination after all. So, I suggest you should just forget about it.

That's why. I think you might need serious professional help, and a real person to talk to.

I know that religion works for a spiritual need. I was just joking based on the fact that people do some of the strangest things, because some " God " told them it was a good idea.
As for your question about Jerusalem Syndrome, yes I've heard of it. The life group that I attend every Sunday. They go to Jerusalem every year, and have an encounter with someone who has it. When they come back, the following Sunday they tell others about their experience.

Tape two halves of a ping pong ball to your eyes and put on some white noise (static). Eventually, you will start hallucinating (both auditory and visual, iirc).

There is a thing called a TULPA creating a Tulpa but I am not sure if I would recommend doing it research hard before you even try because the facts clearly state if you do not finish you will have a holagram floating around that could become a deity or evolve itself.

someone who can do that has a lot more brain power than someone who can not
