Is anyone aware of the fact that singing seems to alleviate the symptoms of various conditions? Tourettes people lose their ticks and swearing, stutterers stop stuttering, Alzheimers regain their memories, long enough to remember the songs they're singing. Does it work with Asperger's I wonder? Has it been tried with other conditions, like depression? Does it stabilize bipolarisation?

Could it be that music brings rhythm to people's lives and makes them forget their troubles as they say?
