Hello again, all of you at WP. My name's Wes, I'm about 20 years old, and I've actually come here before with another account (that I have forgotten the details to). I've been diagnosed with AS from a young age (about 9, I believe) but haven't been told of the specifics until my high school years. At that time I've made my earlier account when I was coming to grips with the whole idea, but didn't necessarily have much an interest in posting.

Well, now I'm back. Why? If anything I've learned recently, networking is important whether you're outgoing or reserved. Plenty of people tell me that I'm 'normal enough' nowadays, and I have learned many techniques to blend in to typical society, but if that's true, why am I still largely friendless? I hope to ease myself here as I learn about the lives of other Aspies and perhaps make a connection or two here or there.

So I'll be hanging around a bit more now! I'm a big Animal fan and am an outright hardcore Gamer above most other things, perhaps some of you are too?

I'm pretty varied when it comes to games, always loved Nintendo classics (Legend of Zelda, Metroid) and a bunch of other series, Final Fantasy, Phantasy Star, even as far back as the old Roguelikes. But I'm a bigger fan of RPGs and PC games, a la Mass Effect, the MOBA genre, and lately Bioshock Infinite. Gaming makes for a pretty good bridging point as a medium, always considered becoming a developer or journalist in the field.
