Does anyone know if this is an 'official' disorder in the DSM?

If not, how would one go about getting help for it? I am going to get looked at for this and BPD, but I strongly fele that this may fit better, so it would suck if it doesn't officially exist.

What's that mean?

Whatever PD I has destroyed vast areas of my life. I think it is a big deal.

Aside from required things like school and my part-time job, I can't even leave the house anymore.

Yeah, that was an exaggeration. But I do feel like avoiding people to the extent I feel like I interact inappropriately and have no sense of identity.

Huh? You have no sense of identity?

Narcissism is sometimes normal - it does not have to be problem a good example could be Issac Asimov? He claimed to be a narcisistic personality. So what? The idea is that sometimes narcissism is just an involuntary product of personality, since personality is also a product of people and the way people see that person you see the whole idea of narcissism stems from the fact that someone likes him self too much? There are people like that, but that depends on the view point you are taking.

Compensatory NPD is basically just someone with low self-esteem who takes it out on others. I don't think that is either healthy or normal.

I know someone who is like that, and he is more like Highlander852456 than the OP, in terms of his opinion of himself. He doesn't actually realise he has low self esteem. He actually thinks he is just too self-confident for others to handle.
