Hello. I'm a 22 year old Californian, diagnosed with Aspergers before I was old enough to remember. One of my main problems in life has always been impaired social skills, just like probably most people here. My other problem is being MtF transgendered, and I'm trying to transition once I can find a way to get the funds. I've gotten a lot better through the Job Corps program, but I still have miles to go.

I'm currently a Job Corps student in Montana, but I should be graduating in a few weeks and returning to California. I plan on doing two years of community college as a CAD student, then two to four of university as an Engineering student. I didn't pay attention in high school, so I have a LOT of remedial work (especially math and science), but I want an Engineering degree bad enough to go ahead anyway.

My interests are incredibly diverse, ranging from all things police and military to fashion and cooking. I've never been able to lock down on one or two things as MY things, so I'm pretty eclectic.

best of luck in you engineering aspirations. lots of folks don't do so well in school prior to figuring out what they want to do. now you're over that hurdle.

(I was also diagnosed with maleness when I was born. :D It's a bit of a frustrating problem. So far things have gone pretty OK for me. I hope things go well for you, as well. :) )
