Could the past year that I've spent, crying over my lost love (the Routemaster), really have been a result of growing pains? Before the December of 2005, I was a very goofy and annoying person. I guess that you could even say that I was immature and I didn't take anything seriously, at all. I was living in an Austin Powers/Carnaby Street type world, looking at the world through rose-coloured glasses. Than December 9th, 2005 happened. I've decided to grow up and find a more mature obsession, which is my current one with Routemasters. I wonder if it was growing pains, or a lot more?

As always, I've just wanted to see this issue through the eyes of other members. sometimes people see things in you, that you don't see in yourself.

What the heck? You mean, England just dismantled its coolest of buses, just as recently as 2005? I'm sorry, I did not know.

That's a horrilbe loss. They took a very large fabric of thier culture and just wiped it off the map as if it wasn't a part of many peoples blood stream. Why they did not just keep the design and make new routemasters, is probably at the hearts of many people. Or did they?

They didn't even bother to make a proper replacement.

Um, I think you were crying because the thing you loved most is just gone?
