Lewis Carroll possibly an aspie?

I've always been a fan of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Lewis Carroll. Two of my favorite things have been writing and math so I always enjoyed his writing and thought happily to myself that maybe he was an aspie as such proficiency in both math and language is a rather unique trait of us Aspies =P. I have also always sworn that I'd use a pen name if I ever decided to pursue writing and would always refuse to let my English teachers submit anything I wrote for publications and scholarships because, for some reason, I just don't want my name published. I always kind of thought that maybe it is trait of aspergers and why he chose to use a pen name as well.

In one of my many hours spent reading wikipedia I finally came across him and am very surprised (maybe a bit happy?) to see that it appears he shares some key traits of aspergers. He is described as speaking with a "stammer" or "hesitation". It also mentions accusations of him being a paedophile due to his writing of children's fantasy and never marrying or pursuing women.

Yeah I heard that pedaphile rumor. But when I think about it people
could say the samething about me "never married" and "never really pursuded women". And I have no interest in pedaphila so I do
not buy the rumors that guy was a pedaphile at all. Most pedaphiles are likely married with kids any way.

I seem to remember his name coming up on several threads asking about historical people who might be ASpies. Samuel Clemens visited him, and remarked on how quiet and shy he was. (Of course, compared to how rowdy Clemens was, most people would come across as shy.)

As to the pedaphile thing, it is documented that he took nude photos of young girls, but they were more artistic than pornagraphic. I believe I read that he asked in his will for all the photos to be destroyed after his death, but some have survived.

Alice was a marvelous invention. Carrol was certainly non a regular guy, whatever that means. He liked little girls and his photos were charged with erotism, even if he certainly didn't rape them. He was also subversive and this mushrooms eating business was not so innocent. The trial story was was also poking fun at trials and authorities in a devastating way.

I read that he was in this book of famous autistics. It's a children's book but I forget the name of it. Even Einstein was in the book too and Newton and of course Temple Grandin.

I used to play a game where you had to guess what drug a character or person could potentially be taking, Lewis carroll was VERY popular, guess we were all wrong though.

I've read in more than one place that he destroyed all but 4 of the nudes himself just before his death. I've also read that he did it because he knew they were suspicious looking. The four that he didn't destroy aren't exactly "pornographic," but he destroyed dozens of others and only left four. I would imagine the four he left were the least eyebrow raising, so who knows what the rest of them looked like.
