It's 10:50 PM now. 10 minutes ago it was 10:00. 10 minutes before that it was 9:00. I'm in an extremely low mood and I'm so stuck in my head and my obsessions that I'm frozen. Everything feels like the same moment. I don't notice when an hour has passed.

Been there. Still get it occasionally. Put on your favourite music, and in the morning, get some sunlight.

making myself get busy with one in a long list of deferred chores will snap me out of it, or if something I see on the news makes me good and angry.

hm, yes I think i'll quote that, seeing as I am also in tune when I am made to do things but seeing something disturbing doesn't fuel the desire for doing things anymore than i'd like to admit now. The focus in my environment let's say prior to before is something of a mixed blessing I guess but its come too many years too late.

Just be carful this can be signs of serious mental issues if it continues when your mood returns to normal.

Stuck in the interminable present, each moment being excrutiatingly like the last.

I'm slowly emerging from a 6 month bout of that. It's not clever.

It didn't continue. I have been much more zoned out lately. Last week it took me nearly an hour to make a salad because I was so zoned out. Other than that I haven't been above my normal level of spaciness.
